Knit that comes apart

Most knitwear is soft and finished: you buy a jumper, and it stays a jumper. We wanted knit that behaves more like a set of parts. A TAVRENOO vest is complete on its own. Button a pair of sleeves onto its armholes and it becomes a jumper. Snap a collar onto the neckline and it becomes a smarter top. Take the parts off again when the day changes.

Every join is in plain sight

There are no hidden hooks or zips. Each armhole of a vest carries a knitted band with six 18 mm four-hole buttons; the top of every sleeve is a matching band with six buttonholes. Inside every vest and cardigan neckline sit four 12 mm metal press studs, and every collar has four studs on its underside that snap onto them. Because the spacing is the same on every piece, every pair of sleeves fits every vest, and every collar fits every vest and cardigan.

Structure you can see

We use stitches that give each part a shape of its own: raised rope cables, popcorn bobbles in diamonds, open pointelle eyelets, drop-stitch ladders, plush two-colour brioche. Each part should look finished on its own, not like half of something.

Eight series

Our pieces come in eight series, K01 to K08. A series shares one stitch, one colour and one button colour, so pieces from the same series always match. Mixing series works too: an oat vest with plum sleeves is one of our favourite combinations.

Sizes that line up

Vests and cardigans come in XS to XL. Sleeves come in S, M and L: S fits vests XS–S, M fits vest M and L fits vests L–XL. When you build a set on a vest page, we pick the matching sleeve size for you. Collars are one size. See the size guide for measurements.
